First, Happy New Year To All...

2015 gone like wind... that what i love to say. It's been up and down year for me. Tapi mcm every year pun begitu. But few events happened that truly makes 2015 an unforgettable year. I don't know why i am so eager for 2016, mcm bersemangat btul mo buat apa yang mo buat, tpi tidak tercapai. Maybe 2016 will become a more challenging year that 2015. Maybe sa akan berhadapan dengan lebih berat dugaan, cabaran. Not sure how or what the challenge is, but i think i still used the COURAGE to overcome it. Just like 2015.

Mother Nature Revenged

Sabah Earthquake 2015.

I was supposed to go for our yearly company Camp, to be held at one of the hotel/resort in Kundasang, when Sabah was rocks by the devastating eartquake early morning of June 5th 2015. It was a 5.9 or 6.0 magnitude, depending on where you heard/read the news. At the time the earthquake happened, i was taking my shower when i felt the ground move. I was at my home in Penampang when the quake happened. Checking on my phone, more and more message coming in informing that an earthquake just occured, didnt know the full stories i drove to our the office to prepare for my journey to Kundasang. Most office in Kota Kinabalu decided not to continue operating, fears for aftershocks that might crack the building. The Earthquake kills a lot of people, all of them at Mount Kinabalu, where the epicenter of the quake located.
This is my first experience of an earthquake, though i have felt normal earth movement but not at this scale. I would like to say condolence to the family who had lost their love one. It's heartbreaking...

Floods

Might not consider this as an Mother Nature revenged, as the caused of this flooding was the worst management of the drainage and of course, rampant hills cutting in our area. This is the second worst flood in our area (the first was in 2014). Macam suda jadi kebiasaan setiap kali hujan lebat, kompom air naik... kalau setakat jalan raya saja, i can accept, but ni sampai masuk rumah... Lots of things had to be sacrifice (buang) as it is deemed unusable. Just need to continue servicing the drainage, and control the hills cutting activities. Goverment patut mo kasi cepat perjalanan tu projek tebatan banjir, which i see is too slow... Sa x hairan kalau banjir lagi ni tahun masuk rumah, selagi tiada tindakan yang di ambil untuk mo solve ni problem

Cost Of Living on the raise

This issue sa rasa smua urang cakap, di mana saja. Especially on April 2015, where the goverment introduce the GST. Sana sini urang bising, but then they "HAVE TO"/"TERPAKSA" tahan as wheter we like it or not we have to buy the things yang kena GST. The Ringgit performance against the US Dollar make things worst. Kalau dulu RM50 buli beli banyak barang, nowadays, one or two things saja can be bought. Some orang besar cakap, tidak akan affect sebab jumlah dia kecil... Ko sanang cakap sebab gaji ko basar, and most of the things u consumed is subsidised or paling tidak pun ko claim... What about the poor? the unfortunate one? have you think about them? oh... tu Bantuan Rakyat buli tulung... as i said, RM50 only can buy few things... hehehe. Minyak kereta, naik turun, kalau naik sa bising la... kalau turun ok la... tapi problem dia some trader cited the increase of fuel price give them no choice but to raised the goods price... tp tidak pula kasi turun when the fuel price went down... hmmm... Makes be thinks... When all the goods price went up, do the salary when up on par with the current cost of living? 

Tragic Event

Suicide/Falling Down?.

On the 31 of December 2015 i was getting ready for the New Year Eve celebration with my family. I received a message from our staff informing me that a body of a man was found dead in front of our office. I directly called to get more information and rushed to the office as this is not a small matter. While driving, in a jam,  received numerous call from the staff giving me the information i needed. Arrived at the office compound i saw the body of the guy being carried by a police truck, to be send to the hospital for post mortem. According to the stories i heard, he was dead due to falling from the 9th or 10th floor of the building. It was a tragic end for 2015 as i personally knew this guy. He was working as a security guard at our office and actually a humble guy. I heard stories from the security who knew him, but at this time of writing i can't reveal it as it is still under police investigation. I just want to say Rest In Peace... 

My Mentor's Gone

I read in my FB timeline and was shocked when i saw a posting of a friend informing that his father left them in his sleep. He was my former boss, my mentor and a father figure to me. He was responsible for the basic IT knowledge i had in me that i developed into my own skills. He's the reason i followed English Premier League more seriously. I had two spells working under him and i gained knowledge after knowledge. He was one of the most respected man in Donggongon. His favorite team was Nottingham Forest but he always talked good when we chat about my fav team, Manchester United. I still remember he let me off early to let me watch Sabah Team playing at Stadium Penampang. He said, you had to support Sabah, your team, your state. But don't use this as a reason to get off early... Uncle Justin Lai, May your soul rest in peace. Missing you already and thanks for making me who i am today... indeed, Donggongon won't be the same without you...

What's In Store for 2016

I'm entering my 8th Year of employment at my current office. This was the longest i've been in any company. Although its only 8th years i am proud for what i had achieved. I might not be as important as other staff but i will just do my jobs, complete it and contribute where i can... I know i can i just have to believe it.

After my yearly Mount Kinabalu climb in April 2015, i've decided take 1 year off from mount climbing in 2016. Then in June 2015 Eartquake strucked Mount Kinabalu making most of the trail impassable. They manage to fix the trail and according to FB posting, there are new trails, more challenging but the view is excellent. I've decided to cancel my 1 year off, and get ready for any Mount Kinabalu expedition. Kalau ada... The only things that motivate me is the new challenge. I need that. I need to remain fit in 2016. I've lay down my fitness plan for 2016 and i hope im not too lazy to achived that... hehehe

I've abandoned my first love, my DSLR for a year. I'm hoping to return using it this year. Not for monetary purpose but to rekindle the hobby i like the most. Had some few plan for my photography activities, and again, i hope i will not be lazy to do that. Expect to post more photo on my intagram, FB, blog and all social media i registered with. Harap la...

In a Season where Man. Utd won the EPL by major points, United fans all over the world were shocked to hear that Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement from managing Man. Utd on 8th May 2013. I was shocked. Sia tidak sangka Sir Alex will announce his retirements. I thought he will be immortal, he will managed Man. Utd forever. I thought he will 'never' retired. For me He is Man. Utd! But when i learned that Sir Alex said he had made the decisions since Dec 2012 i had to admit that he had done his best to to get where Man. Utd are now, he in fact succeeded.

I grew up supporting Man. Utd, no other team. I started watching them in 1990, 4 years after SAF took over. I decided that this team will be my team 2 years later. My favorite player that time was Bryan Robson, after it Ryan Giggs until now. 23 years, i witness SAF developing player after player. Some great signing, some not, but majority of his signing had excel in Man. Utd shirts. From Eric Cantona to Mark Hughes, Ince, Steve Bruce, Andrei Kanchelskis, Solkjaer, Cole, Yorke & Sheringham. I never imagine Kleberson and Juan Sebastian Veron wore the Man Utd before. Who could have forgotten the Fergie's Fledglings that responsible for the 'Treble' in 1998-99 season. Developing David Beckham to a world class player, the same way he did to Cristiano Ronaldo. Phew... that's a lot. That's why i said, Manchester United is Sir Alex Ferguson. I've lost words...



I will have to get use to not seeing Sir Alex Ferguson in the stands at Old Trafford or any Stadium in the world.I will miss SAF chewing his bubble gum from start whistle till the end, his face turns red when he is piss-off with the performance of his team, the commentator saying about the 'hairdryer' treatment if the team were behind, keep looking at his watch when the game is at injury time (especially when his team had a slim lead) and the way he argue with the fourth official. I will miss that! Well, SAF will remain at the club as a directors and ambassador. I know he will not ends there. I will hear news about him... i just knew it.

For this i would like to say Thank You Sir Alex! I am proud to support Manchester United because of you! 

Welcome David Moyes. When everybody was expecting it will be 'The Special One' Jose Mourinho is about to replaced SAF, Man. Utd announced that it will be David Moyes, i believe after an endorsement from SAF himself. Not to disrespect Mourinho, i think SAF was looking for someone who could develops young player and turn them into world class player, just like what SAF did in his 26 years at Man. Utd. Maybe Moyes is NO SAF or Mourinho. Moyes is Moyes and i believe he will delivers. He might struggle early but believe me, SAF was almost sack in 1990, but look what he did to Man. Utd. Give Moyes time. I also might felt akward seeing it is not SAF coming out from the tunnel but a different manager, but i know i will get used to it...

Might be late, but this is me. hehehe. being busy with everything. Hahahaha.

So just want to wish Happy Chinese New Year to all the reader of this blog. This year is the year of the Snake. As for me, i was born in 1980 and bear the sign of Monkey, Steel Monkey to be exact. So what's in store for me in the year of the Snakes?

Most i read says that i will have a stable year with its ups and downs. Financially, it will be good, but i doubt that because i will be using almost all my savings on my big days. Maybe after that. hehehe. 

Works/career wise, they might be a promotion, but looking at how things go at the moment, i don't think it will be this year, but i am confidence of a promotion. Maybe i just need to avoid conflicts with people near me, but not doing things such as "angkat kaki". 

Nearing the big day, the zodiac says that i might not have a stable relationship... hmmm. All i read saying that Steel Monkey will be a bit lonely this year. Don't know what that means... But my overall health is good, only need to 'drive carefully' which i will and always do while on the road.



All the above I'll used it as a guidelines on how i will face the year. Never before i 100% adhere to all the advice of my Chinese Zodiac. Merely a guidelines. Try to improve where is my weakness is no 1 priority, the rest, if achieved is a bonus for me. 

So, once again i would like to wish a Prosperous Chinese New Year To All readers of KaDuSViLLe.

A great video by Nadira Ilana regarding the 1986 Riot. It give the details on how the riot happened, what caused it and who was behind it. This video maybe has given a clue of how some of the illegal immigrant entered Sabah. This was the darkest day of Sabah after independent. 

I was 6 years old that time, and was in Kindergarten school at St. Francis Convent, Kindergarten. According to my mother, because of this event, my grandmother was very scared and have ask my mum, not to send me to KK school anymore, because she feared things like this could happen again. As a result, i further my primary education at Penampang until i completed my secondary education.





This will remain part of Sabah history. Please share to all Sabahan.

Since 2011, byk sudah kana cakap pasal ni. GE13 or PRU13. Everybody was talking about this, be it at the coffee shop, offices, home, and almost everywhere. Sekarang lagi la. Di mana2 saja jumpa pasti akan cakap pasal nie. Most story sia dangar, misti pasal politik, misti pasal pilihanraya. Dia nda kira kaum, agama, umur (yg qualified mengundila) smua pun membicarakan bila tarikh PRU 13. Kalau nda silap, last PRU was held on March 2008. Kalau ikut perlembagaan Malaysia, 1 Term is equivalent to 5 years. Kalau ikut lagi, bulan 3 ni genapla 5 Tahun the current govt bearing office. As far as i know, the parliament akan terbubar secara otomatik apabila itu term sudah habis. So mo tidak mo, the GENERAL ELECTION WILL BE HELD tahun ini juga, 2013.

As said before, since 2011, ramai sudah yang bercerita pasal ni election. Sia tinguk smua parti politik pun all geared up. Derang ready since 2011 lai, since drg jangka yg the election will be held on 2012. Tapi nda juga. Dunno why nda jadi. Maybe ada beberapa isu yg menyebabkan election nda jadi time tu. Sepanjang 2012, there a lot of events unfold and some of it might be the 'key' to Malaysia next General Election. What it is, i guess everybody would have knew about it, so no need for me to say more.

Normal question is being asked by friends around Sabah. "Who will you vote?" Well i cant say at the moment. If the last election i am FIRM with my votes, this time around i am more a fence-sitter. As said before, a lot of events unfold in 2012 with some of it will be the keys for this coming GE. So to answer the question of who will i vote, i will have to say "tunggu dan lihat". I'm taking that approach so that i can evaluate ALL parties move before i made the next move. Some might say that mine is only one vote, and would not make much different in the voting process. My answer is simple. Although i am not as important as many out there, my one vote will be very crucial for all party. My one vote will become a key vote, if there is a draw, tapi mungkin nda la.. Hehehe. But i still say my votes is important as other's.

So, who will we votes will depend on many factors. I can only say that our vote will be very crucial. Thank you

On Thursday, my friend inform me about a news from the mainstream TV. Since nowadays, i rarely watch news at mainstream TV (because of too much politics) i don't know about the news. It was inform that all the new MyVi will have to go for a 'special' service to replace a problematic EPS (Electronic Power Steering).

Following is the official press release from Perodua regarding the practise. This press release is copied from Perodua Official Web site (www.perodua.com.my)

Perodua initiates Preventive Measure Campaign for New Myvi

Rawang, 16 Jan: Perodua is initiating a Preventive Measure Campaign call for its 74,000 New Myvi variants produced between March 2011 and March 2012 to replace the Electronic Power Steering (EPS) column of the model.
The exercise is to ensure that owners of the New Myvi enjoy optimum performance of their vehicle.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused to our customers but this campaign is necessary as the car’s performance may not be at its best and could partially compromise the driver’s response time at low speeds,” Perodua Managing Director, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
He said that based on studies conducted by Perodua, the problem could be detected when the EPS indicator is alight, after which, the driver could feel a slight heaviness at speeds of between 30km/h and 40km/h.
This can be temporarily fixed by switching off the engine and restarting the car.
“However, for a permanent fix and to eliminate any possibility of risk to our customers, we kindly request that an appointment to be made at any of our 170 service centres nationwide for the replacement of the EPS column,” He added.
The car company has already issued notification letters to the affected customers.
Aminar said that after making an appointment at the most convenient service centre, a customer will be given a briefing on the replacement of the EPS column. The exercise will take approximately 80 minutes.
“Perodua will absorb all costs for the replacement of the EPS column; in addition, priority will be given to those affected because here at Perodua, You Matter Most,” he said.
“The campaign time frame is open ended; that being said we encourage our customers to make their appointments as soon as it is convenient for them to ensure that the replacement can be done orderly and smoothly,” Aminar said.

As a one of the many user of the new MyVi, initially i did not notice any problem until one day last year i was driving i notice sounds coming from the steering every time i make a turns. Sometime i also notice my steering became a bit lighter on turn. When i saw this press release by Perodua,  i did not see any mention of what the variant of the new MyVi. It could be The New Myvi, Elegence, SE or Extreme (1.5). I dont know whether this problem is connected with the recent press release.

Being advised by friends to go and check at Perodua Centre, just in case. Will wait for my niece to get back to work before she can confirm whether my car is included or not. Untuk keselamatan, mo juga pigi check lah...

Derang mau Malaysia menjadi negara yg 'bersih'!

Greetings. Not too late for me to wish you all A Blessed Christmas 2012. May you all enjoy your day with your family. friends and love one. To others, TQ for celebrating this occasion with us. It shows that no matter what religions one another, we can still enjoy all the celebration without any trouble.

Well, 4 more days. if not including my sleeping time there will be less than 48 hours to go. New Year come, new resolution will come. A lot of resolution i heard, from, want to get married, to get the first RM1Million. Well i hope you will achieved it, whatever your resolution is. As for me, as usual, I'm not putting any resolution for New Year. I only hope i will have a good health and continue my life journey until He says, "Your time is Up". Simple as that.

Tapi, there is one thing i really like to do next year. Have to start all over again, i think. This Blog. I have been abandoning this blogs for quite sometimes. I feel guilty, abandoning this blog. has been part of my life for 7 years. My first Blog post, Song For Someone Special... was published on May 12, 2005. Sia actually sindri pun nda paham apa yang sia tulis tu.I think i put up the song lyrics to get the attention of this one girl i admire long time ago... Tapi tu cerita dulu-dulu, jaman batu. hoho...

Normal service resume as Man. Utd defeated Stoke City by 4-2 in the EPL game.
All the striker score, which mean we had one of the deadliest strike force in the EPL. Rooney actually score 3 goal, but unfortunately, one was an own goal, that give Stoke a lead in the first half. The Final Score was Man. Utd 4-2 Stoke City. Goals by Rooney (2), Van Persie & Welbeck while Stoke goals came from an own goal by Rooney and Knightly. Oh, Michael Owen made a return to Old Trafford in This Match. Still remember the goal he scored against Man City and his hatrick in the Champions League. Class.

As things stands, Chelse still leads the EPL by 4 points, Man Utd share the same point with Man City but with goal different advantage.

Good Day... i'm blogging after a very long absent... yes, A VERY LONG Absent. Works come up, all of the sudden everything became so and so mess up. I didnt have time to write on my blog. Even have less time to check on my Facebook. Well, given that i have yhe apps install on both my phone still i can't find time to use it. But i still have time to try a new sport in Golf. But that another story. hehehehe...

Hi KaDuSVillian, sorry for the long update. I actually way too busy with life. Life a an working adult, part-time businessman, part-tike student. Hell, im involve in both district and state level kaamatan committee. Both in Sugandoi competition. For those who dont know what im talking about above, let me explain a bit. Kaamatan is a celebration celebrated by KadazanDusun like me in Sabah. It is a harvest festival where people will celebrate the paddy harvest season. Although nowadays people hv less paddy field, but the spirit to celebrate kaamatan is.still strong among sabahan. This celebration is celebrated every year on the 30-31 OF May every year, with some modern touch in it. The Sugandoi in other and is the singing competition. Its has become a major.part in Kaamatan celebration after the Unduk Ngadau (beauty queen).

Enuff bout that. This waht made me quite busy. Havent have that much precious.time to go and 'play' with my camera. My weekends is fully occupied with studies and weekdays, as usual, with works. Im studying part time but seriously im struggling. I just cant get my hand on what ive been studying. Its a big probem, considering im approaching the crucial time of my life. well, i have to just give it a try. No matter what.

And still i dont want it to be a major industry, or even changing it to be a major company in Saah. I just love how KE runs at the.moment. Well, when things getting more successful, they will be people who might thing they can do what they want. Sorry to say, but u r wrong. Although KE meant for everyone, it doesnt means that anybody can do or act on behalf of me. Im still the Founder/Owner of KE. Put that in you dictionary. For people who think that they can do what they wishes is wrong. They way KE runs it business is different than any other company, and i want it to be that way. Twitter Activity vs Facebook
Aving dificulty accessing my FB acc for.almost a week. Dunno what have i done wrong, but i think i am.happy with it. i done feel that i 'really' need FB to operate my daily life, although FB has become useful tool nowadays, apart from social networking. Hmm... the words networking says it all. I've been more active in twitter. Set up an account way back in 2007 and only last year become.active again. No wonder more 'newbie' had become.more activethan me. Heehe . As for my FB account, ill try to figure it out this.coming days. Well at the time if writing i've completed 1 week without FB. Haahaha

Earthquake, Tsunami, Nuclear Scare in Japan
On friday, a powerful earthquake hit the coast of Japan. It measure 8.9 on the richter scale and has been billed as the largest quake in record. The effect of the quake, well, tsunami. About 10m high of tsunami hits Japan and reports saying that might be almost 10k people had died.or missing. The nuclear plant at Fukushima also 'having big problem'. And reports i read stated that one of the reactor had explode, and there are radiation leakage in surrounding area. One unofficial reports stated that one of volcano mountain in Japan had exploded. But.this.is.yet to be confirm.

Wat can you see or wrap up above? Dooms Day? The making of 2012? First, condolences to the people of Japan and those.who lost their.love one in this disaster. My prayer and thoughts are.with you. Be Strong.
I learn baout this when looking at the trending topic in twitter on my phone. I quickly went ack to the office.and inform my colleague about.ths, rush to see the news in the computer and the tsuami alarm as been rang in Japan, warningpeople that a tsuami is iminent. It was shockingly scary to see the footage from CNN, BBC and AlJazeera. the wave of tsunami hitting everything in it path. no forces could stop it. I still wondering what had.happen to the one car, who try to reverse back when the tsunami wave almost hits.the roads.

Well, nothing much to say here. I actually testing on this.new apps i downloaded from Android Market called Blogger-Droid. I actually posted one blog post few days ago using my iPhone but it didnt publish until now, and i remember i've press the "Publish" button, but hey, this is technology... i dont have any idea why it wont post. So rather than trying, turn to my HTC DHD and try to post using thus software... Thus post is hundred percent type from my phone using Blogger-Droid apps, the keyboard while listening to Neon Trees's Animal (love this song). Well so far so good...

There are so many function that i wish to test here. Hopefully i can get it posted on my blog, www.kadusville.net. The typo error is because type too fast that i don't know what character i've typed...hehehe. Lets test this thing!

Hello readers! it's been a while...? while? it's been a very long time lah, easy to say. Over two months of absent. How am i going to catch up? Yeah, blame it on Facebook. hahahaha. nah, i've communicate less in FB nowadays. Only checking incoming message using my phone, and that's it. i guess time is the main issue here. I dont have that much time to write a post in this blog. Should i abandoned this blog? I don't think so. I think i should slowly catch up with the rest. Guess a lot of blogger had already abandoned their blogs and turn into FB. How fast technology change. Still remember i used to be an active chatters in MiRC and stop using it after i started using Yahoo! Messenger. After that i totally forget about MiRC. Does blogging will suffer the same fate as MiRc because of Facebook?

Talking about blogging, i remember one news (local one) headlining a news article about one food critics and a restaurant in KK. I don't think it is a things to mention the name of the blog and also the name of the restaurant involve. Well, i wouldn't risk myself to be sued just because of  my posting... hehehehe. The restaurant owner is suing the blogger for a posting allegedly degrading the standard of the restaurant. I never been to the restaurant so i couldn't give my opinion on this. But i only can say that, this might be a remote cases and since the owner of the restaurant, maybe wanted to see how popular is he in the internet, he might stumble upon on Google about this article. Well it happened to me, and i have being warned. I once wrote a post about our organization annual dinner, where i say i am not really into the event where there is a dress code in it. Yeah, it is time wasting to go and find an outfit for one event. Unfortunately my boss the CEO, found the posting while searching in google the rest is history. I learned my lesson. hehehehe.

So, whatever happen to freedom of speech in Malaysia? or should i ask, is there any Freedom of Speech in Malaysia? or even the world...? Well there are... Only that it ask us to used it wisely. Does the blogger used the freedom of speech wisely when he post about the food he taste in that restaurant? For me, yes. He's expressing his opinion. Do the restaurant owner doing the right thing for suing google and the blogger over the posting? Yes, if his business is decline because of the posting. So who could we blame? Who is in the wrong here? Well, for me the only way is to practice a safe blogging. One wrong posting, then be prepare for Police to visit your doorsteps. Honestly i feel pity for the Food Blogger around the state. They might have won the best actor award, for pretending everything is good. Cheer Up pal...

Teda lah bilang dulu ni kali...

The title above says it. Yes, finally i owned my own domain. Well, as long as i keep on paying the renewal fee, the domain name will be mine, and if i stops, others will get it. I've registered KaDuSViLLe.net last Thursday and only today (17 OCT) that i realized it is up after few days of tweaking here and there. I almost gave up, but after thinking that it is a waste of RM30 for purchasing the domain name, i've decided to continue searching for solution. Sayang bah tu RM30. Lama tu buli pakai bikin bili minyak.

Although the domain was up, i still experience some problem reaching it. Not sure about the reader out there, but i still get the OpenDNS "Unable to load page" error message. I don't used OpenDNS IP as my preferred DNS setting. I used it before but i've disabled it for sometime. I am just puzzled up why OpenDNS error comes out occasionally. Macam biskut bah, sekejap ada sekejap teda... hehehe

On blogger site, the "dns not setup properly" message still occurred.
Satu lai problem yg timbul ialah,all my links, that i purposely put on my blog is missing. That link is for my easy reference to visit other blogger's blog, and it is missing. The good things is, i can fill it back, but it has to be done one by obe, and on top of that i don't even have a backup off it. Ada bah sia buat tu nga outdated suda. all the latest links with the latest blogger on it, ilang begitu saja. i have to refer to other blogger to redo my link. Those blog yang i do remember putting it, i will link it back. yang sia nda ingat tu, kasi tau lah blog link kamu, supaya senang sia mo visit blog kamu.

Whatever the problem above, it might be due to my incompetency of setting up my own domain. Well, let this be the lesson for me. I won't learn anything if i don't make a mistake. Now i've made the mistake, and now i know what can or can't i do.

FYI, KaDuSViLLe will be the same. Same content, same stories. Same style of writing, same grammatical error... it is still me... I only change my url, so that it can be easily remembered and refer. Well, lately i've been asked to do a talks about blogging so it would be nice to have a url that is simple to note.
