July – Nothing Interesting Noted

Nothing much. Only one thing good enough to talk is about the operation to flush illegal immigrant that has been residing here in Sabah for ages. It is a big scale operation, according to the statement released by the government. Banner about the operation is out and radio deejay is actively reminding people to always bring along their documents. Whoa!!!

But seriously is there any update on that? I always read the newspaper about it, but what really disappoints me is the story about the operation is only in small portions. Front page is filled with political matters. I want to be that, he should become this and I should be on that post. I don’t know whether the newspaper guys more interested to publish the political matter rather than update on what has been happening about the operations? I don’t know other places, but what I know is, I only seen one operation here in town. Don’t remember when, but there is…

The political matter maybe important (for some people lah mangkali), but what about the promises you (politician) made to the rakyat about flushing the illegal out of Sabah? Have you done it? Have you really Flush Em’ All? Oh you just interested to report about you gaining this postion in you respective party???

August – Bali Vacation

Funny to tell, but this is my first trip outside the country. This is a trip organized by our organization to our staff. We are divided into 5 groups and the first three groups have gone to Bandung and Medan, Indonesia earlier this year. We’ve made a unanimous decision to go to Bali. It’ good actually as I always want to go to Bali. Although there is a history of terrorist attack way back in 2002 (reffering to the Bali Bombing), the travel agent has assured us that the security in Bali is really tight nowadays. Proven to be very-very truth. Everywhere we goes, there is at least two securities personal on standby. There’s also CCTV everywhere. The security personal outnumbered the policeman/woman on duty in Bali. That does explain why I didn’t see many policeman/woman on duty there.

We went on to visit the silver manufacturing place, wood carving and a temple which is located on the beach. In fact, there is a lot of temple in Bali as the main religion of Balinese is Hinduism. I only found 1 mosque and a Christian cemetery so far at Bali. Our hotel is one of the grandest i ever stay. It is the Hard Rock Hotel, Bali. Just in front of it is the Kuta Beach, famous for surfing! Yeah!!!

Bali is truly a shop-tertainment heaven. The stuff to buy is cheap and if you are good at the skill of ‘tawar menawar’, you may get the best price ever.

September – …

One week after come back from Bali, my mum woke me up to tell my grandfather is unconscious. Went on to check on him, I presumed he was gone. That was the most shocking thing happened as the night before, he was very active, saying he want to go to town tomorrow. He was happy… Hmmm… I rather not write more about this, as its really break my heart… May his soul rest in Peace…

October – KE Star Studded Nite Party

KaDuS Entertainment™ yearly gathering has a new name, a new theme… No more to be called Annual gath, but from now on it will be called KE Party. Everybody is a star at that night. Having a problem actually to find a costume that match with that but, luckily on the very last minute, I found it. Hehe…

Oh, My Team finished 2nd in the Man & Women Futsal Tournament organized by the Ministry Of Finance, Sabah. FYI, Sabah Credit is a statutory body under the state government and we are under the MOF. Our tem (Men’s Team) losing 3-1 in the Final against Warisan Harta where’s one of their player is a friend of mine and another blogger, Gidong.

November – My Favorite Month

Yes… November, I love this month… It is my favorite month. Dunno why, but must be because my birthday is in November and my favorite number happens to be 11.

This is the month I started to get people attention unintentionally. I was asked by the Sabah Computer Societies to give talks about blogging at one of their event. Not being the best blogger around and lack of experience (3 years only), I just give the audiences the basic things about blogging. Didn’t know there’s a reporter from local daily to cover the event, I continue on giving my talks. The reporter took some picture of me and went off. Few days later, my pic is out on the newspaper. Some office colleague congratulate me, some started blogging themselves. I’ve also received few phone call from clubs and societies to give talks about blogging. Hmm… I can see the importance of blogging as a lot of people wanted to know more. I guess it is because of the aftermath the March GE.

We (SCC Futsal Team) again participate in another Futsal Tournament. This time a tournaments for Statutory Bodies. Futsal is one of the sport event under the Sabah Statutory Bodies Sports. But sadly we didn’t past the quarter-final as we were defeated by SEDCO Team. Manage to score one goal, but that's it. We were out! But i enjoyed playing in that tournarments, especially when the player you are playing against is much more better and skillful. How about former state (Sabah) player???

December - Holiday Mood

Much more event organised this month. starting with the Anugerah PERTISA. Read my 'honest' comment about it HERE. This event meant to acknowledge the most popular artist in Sabah and their works...

Then there is the O2C's Red Is Glam Party (RiGP, finally get it right this time). A Charity event for KASIH, the KK Aids Support Services. Brilliant event.

Pastu i was involved in our Christmas Decoration judging where i act as one of the shepherds... in our case... jajal shepherds... Wekekekeke...

Get drunk here and there... tapi nda lah sampai nakalapik nda ingat dunia... wowowowowow

I am happy in 2008. That what make me sad. Now, it's been three days since i left 2008 behind, i still feel like... macam baru kemarin sia pakai baju cowboy and menari tarian Suluk. Wekekekeke.

"I go foward leaving all the memories behind. Some i would cherish forever, some better left behind. Truly wonderful years, happiness come and goes with sadness, good comes with bad... Can I ask for more? Thank You God for all the great things You give upon me"

Uish... sia merapu sudah (webber pinjam ayat ko ah). Wakakaka.. Okay.... Take Care Everybody!!!

The Journey Ends…

Our Futsal journey ends last night when we are defeated by a far better team. In fact, all the teams that compete in the Sabah Statuary Bodies Futsal tournament were much better, fitter and skillful. Actually kami sudah agak yang this time around, there won’t be an easy ride for us. We knew that most of the teams has include their best player, even some of them were ex state player. Coming into this tournament as a mere underdog lah kira.

The Path

Monday – 3 NOV 2008

We started off the tournament with a match against LKTNS (Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Negeri Sabah). Spearhead by former state player Rizal Awang Jad, we knew it will be a though match for us. Surprisingly we manage a draw against a team that has a very good passing and individual skills. 2-2 draw is a good result for us. My teammate Johnny Mansor and Shaun Venatius scored the goals. Sia nda main dalam ni game. Sia pun nda tau knapa sia nda men ni game? Gagaran? Nda juga lah… Still remember when I used to played against former state player, such as Luther Gambar, Zaikel Leong and Jainin Tinin to name some lah… so I guess bukan gagaran lah. Maybe not so ready lah…

But I started the next game against LKS (Lembaga Kebudayaan Sabah). Tapi sia keluar few minutes after scoring a goal. Ah, this time I know why I went out. Since we are leading, I ask my teammate to come in as he plays good defense. Strategic move lah mangkali. Backfire juga when LKS scored the equalizing goal in the second half. Luckily for us, Johnny scored the goal that put SCC one foot into the quarter final. Good one! We won by 2-1 this time around.

Tuesday – 4 NOV 2008

We just arrive at the Futsal Center before 8. Our 3rd group match scheduled to be play at 8.30pm. Oh, by the way, we are playing at the Suria Indoor Soccer Centre at Jesselton Point. Arrived and met with the SCC ladies team only to tell us that they lost the 2nd and final match. Lupa suda sepa derang jumpa. But they qualified for the Quarter final as they won their 1st Match. Baru sia mo mula warm up, tiba-tiba our team captain (Johnny) called me and ask me to get ready as our match in on. What!!! Derang kasih awal bah kami pinya match!!! Apa nie oh… Mula-mula kami nda cukup urang, coz smua expect that the game start at 8.30pm. Then bila uda cukup urang, officer pula tiada. Oh, every team must include one officer rank N41 and above. That’s the rules. Luckily, dating juga boss kami. So we started with no reserves player for almost all first have. We won the match against LPPB (nda ingat apa nie LPPB) by 3-0. Wekekekeke… All goals scored by Johnny. Not bad for a defensive minded player! Actually I scored juga, but it was disallowed by the referee as I was fouled. He (referee) gave us a free kick, tapi ndada apa-apa juga. We manage to get to the quarter final juga lah… Hehe.

Quarter Finals

We were pit against SEDCO. I thought the match will be played today, tapi ntah kenapa kana ubah lai pigi last night. So go on saja lah with the match. SEDCO team was very good at their passing. We play our fast game, that gave trouble to them until we slowed down our tempo in the second half. Was leading 2-1. Tapi bila team SEDCO uda mula baca our game play, the manage to equalized in the second half and brings the game to Extra time. I was brought in at the end of the second half and continue on to the extra time. Since our game play uda rusak… so to say lah… I can’t do anything but attack on every ball and try to make an opening for my team mate, but no avail… SEDCO score two more in the extra time to win the game at 4-2. Defeated finally.

Personally, Sia nda disappointed sangat lah… We’ve tried our best; play with every single drop of our sweats, Cuma as I said before… we were defeated by a far better team than us. I wish I could contribute, but I failed. SEDCO team deserved the win as our game play was so ‘kucar-kacir’. Kelam kabut lai tu… Maybe because sia lama nda main dalam competition. The last competition I played was at the MOF Futsal tournament last two weeks. Tapi before that it was 3 years since I last play in a competitive match. So tu semangat juang mungkin turun sikit.

So Sabah Credit journey of trying to make an upset, stopped at the quarter final! Cuma harap ladies team saja lah… They manage to get into the Semi-Final after defeating SAFODA in a penalty shot-out. Terpaksa tunggu lagi untuk 2 years lah… Apa buli buat…

KaDuS Bilang:

We tried tapi failed juga… on top of that, my injury (foot) that keep me out of all sporting event reoccurs after the match against LPPB. Luckily I don’t have any sporting event after this. Luckily juga yang that injury nda lah teruk sangat. Cuma sakit kalau mo berjalanlah…

As most of my teammates still ada event, i.e. bowling, badminton and athletics, this is my ‘Sayonara’ to the first Sabah Statuary Bodies Sports Carnival… It’s been great participating in this game! Met some of my old friends, got to see a good futsal match… Senang cakap, I really enjoyed this Event… Hope dia annual event, tapi macam dwi tahunan pula… Okaylah! See Ya!!!

November

Wah... November uda kah? Cepat oh masa berjalan... Feel like just yesterday i celebrate New Year, ganti kalender... now, mula countdown uda... So november has started, although baru sekarang sia mo update blog sia... BZ sikit sia on Saturday and Sunday, don't have a time to go and update this blog...

So... What in Store in November For Me?
Well i always say November is my favorite month of the year. 1 reason is because it is my favorite number... 11. This is the same number i used during my footballing time few years back. And this is the Same number i used in the just concluded MOF (Ministry of Finance) Futsal Tournament, (where we finished 2nd place.) And will probably wear the same number in today's Futsal Tournament. Another??? Hmmm... what else...

Wedding Seasons???
This month i have to attend few weddings. All as a guest. None as a photographer, except for the 22nd November. I was asked to take photo during a wedding reception at Papar and later at a hotel in KK. Nda ingat that Hotel oh. At Papar is my cousin and at KK is my office colleague. On the 16th November also have to attend because it is also my cousin wedding and i am in-charge of the band boy. Might be singing the opening song, entrance song beh... So, bersedia bawa payung kerana pasti akan hujan hari itu... wakakakaka... So many people getting married on November Why Ah?

Blogging Talks
What else... this surprise me! I am invited to give a talks about blogging this month. A Computer association told me that i should became as one of their speaker and mainly my slot will be fill with blogging topics. What should i talk ah? Never done a public speaking before... and i might not be the right person to talk about blogging... I just started blogging 3 years ago, and my knowledge about blogging is stil below par... But since they (the organizer) need somebody like me (dunno what their criteria would be), so take the challenge lah. Say to my self, bila lagi kan... Wakakaka... Well, if you guys have any idea on what i should talk about, please tell be... I need ideas!!!!

Sabah Statuary Bodies Sport 3 - 7 November 2008
hmmm... as i say above, i'll be involve with this sport. Although only one event. FUTSAL!!! Was selected originally to play Volleyball, but the problem is, i don't know how to play it. Better more, i Never play the game before. so i declined. So i opt for Futsal. I should be running juga, tapi looking at the sport pinya jadual, there is no 400m hurdles or 110m hurdles. yang ada 400m saja. Since originally the schedule clashed (Athletics & Futsal), so i go for FUTSAL only. Just last week they told that the FUTSAL game has been rescheduled to 3rd of November (Originally 5th Nov). Too late lor... I didn't go for selection for the athletics event, coz i am still recuperating from my foot injury! Actually playing at the MOF tournament under pain barrier... men tahan saja... Now okay sikit uda... Cuma one thing i worried the most is my fitness... Duh!!!

Last tournament, we achieved 2nd place... But can we went further this time around? i heard there are lot of good team this time around... Hopefully can play my part lah...

KaDuS Bilang:
Will be a very busy month for me... Hopefully i will have time to go and buy something for my self... lama sia nda beli barang yang nda tentu-tentu... Wakakakaka... Okay... See ya!!! I'll be blogging juga ni minggu jan risau!!!

MOF Futsal

Story
Well, last saturday, as most of you know, i'm involved in the MOF Sport Carnival. the game, Futsal. Being a soccer player myself, i don't see any problem playing Futsal, compare to other sport such as Volleyball. I represent Sabah Credit corporation team and this is my first outing with the team. Last time they enter this competition, i am not in yet. It Was two year ago... According to them, they only reached the semi-finals....

Some picture to tell the story la...

Warm up awal kaka... tapi main ntah pukul berapa... panas uda badan... trus sajuk balik...

sama juga Warm up... tapi sampai sejuk tunggu ni. Wekekeke. In this picture, 5.Johnny, 8.Bandy, 9.Conrad, 6.Gerry. Me? behind Bandy...

warming up with Johnny.

The final Between SCC and Warisan Harta. Fellow blogger and friend, Mr. Gidong was there juga. But he represent Warisan Harta. Gidong squarting 3rd From the left.

try to dribble pass the WH player. Gidong is the next defend player. Wekekekeke. Don't remember wether i succeed on going pass that player or not... Hehehe

In the end, we lost the match 3 to 1. Don't want to complain lah what is the reason. I know that Warisan Harta were the better team than us. Their passing were the best, teamwork are excellent and they are brilliant! Congrats to them.

Happy juga lah when both our team the Mens and the Ladies Futsal team were able to make it to the Final. The ladies lost to Sabah Development Bank by penalty. Well, i'm quite happy, although i did'nt contribute much to this feat. Next Target, The Sabah Statutory Bodies Sport to be held in November... I'm in The Futsal Team juga...

KaDuS Bilang:
